Have you ever said that statement or had someone say that to you? That thought possess and sinful condition called procrastination is one of the major sins I struggle with every day. I was reminded today of the day I cried and gave my other sinful struggle to the Lord. Now is past the time I have to give this struggle to the Lord. We cannot of our reason or strength live a sinless life. It so simple, but impossible. The Lord says "Cast your cares on me" that is the only way around the problem, give it to the Lord. So, today as He has helped me in the past, today I ask the Lord Jesus to take this prudent from me, that I do not procrastinate any more. Amen.
It is not that easy to stop a certain sin in our lives but, having Heavenly help is a good start. So, to pick up on lost time, Happy Thanksgiving. I hope the Lord continues to bless of you reading this. Merry Christmas and Happy Jesus Birthday. May the blessings of Jesus' birth be with you all the days of your life. Now up to date, Happy New Year. May 2023 be a good year for all of you.
The end of 2022 and the start of 2023 has not been easy for many of us. I have lost a friend and former coworker. I know he is in Heaven because of his confession of faith. I still have a family divided. I pray daily and work every evert to bring them back together, but with Jesus' help. I struggle with friendships, work, marriage and play. But always I turn to my Lord Jesus for help. I am weak but Jesus is my strength. As Paul was told when asked for the thorn in his flesh to be removed the Lord said,"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." II Corinthians 12: 9 NIV.
Prayer, talking directly to Jesus, is the best daily hourly help any Christian has to keep our soul and spirit connected to the one source of all nutrients we need for a healthy Christian life. Think about this statement for a minute. We can talk directly to Jesus. He is listening and does respond to our conversations. He gives our souls strength to stand in the public square to proclaim His Name. He gives us strength to endure Life's ups and downs. He answers our conversations in many ways we never see, don't stop the talking.
As I look at the uncertainty of the immediate future, I know I will be safe in the Lord's hands. I may not always feel His hands, but I have no doubt His is here. I pray all of my readers and fellow believers keep this same hope and trust that GOD is walking, holding and feeding us daily on our journey to Heaven. Amen.
